VEX Meats – Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with VEX Meats, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
VEX Meats is a UK-based producer of premium, small batch sausages and meat products. All products are made in limited quantities and are subject to availability.
2. Orders & Availability
Due to the nature of small batch production, all products are offered subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities per customer
- We may withdraw or amend products without notice
- In the event of an issue with your order, we will contact you to resolve or refund where appropriate
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase
- We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time
4. Delivery
-We deliver across mainland UK using trusted third-party courier services.
-Orders may occasionally be dispatched under the name “Mucca Wellingtons” due to our shared fulfilment and postal arrangements. All products are prepared and supplied exclusively by VEX Meats.
-While we aim to deliver on the specified date, deliveries to remote or less accessible areas may take longer. We dispatch all orders as scheduled, however delivery timelines are subject to courier operations and location, and cannot be guaranteed once dispatched. Orders are packed using insulated packaging designed to maintain safe temperatures for up to 48 hours, ensuring product integrity in the event of minor delays.
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate delivery details
- Ensuring someone is available to receive the order where required
Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility passes to the customer to ensure timely receipt and appropriate storage.
We are not liable for:
- Courier delays outside our control
- Failed delivery attempts due to incorrect details or absence
5. Perishable Goods & Storage
Our products are perishable and are shipped chilled or frozen.
Upon delivery:
- Products must be refrigerated or frozen immediately
- If goods arrive defrosted but still cold to the touch, they may be safely refrozen and consumed
We are not responsible for spoilage resulting from:
- Missed deliveries
- Delays in refrigeration or freezing
- Improper storage after delivery
6. Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.
If there is an issue with your order:
- You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery
- Photographic evidence may be required
All claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Refunds or replacements are issued at our discretion.
7. Product Information
We take care to ensure all product descriptions, ingredients, and allergen information are accurate.
However:
- Products are made in environments that may handle allergens
- Customers are responsible for checking suitability before purchase
If you have specific dietary requirements, please contact us prior to ordering.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss arising from misuse, improper storage, or handling of products
9. Events Outside Our Control
We are not liable for delays or failure to fulfil our obligations due to events beyond our control. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Courier disruptions
- Severe weather
- Supply chain issues
- Technical failures
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, branding, images, and product concepts, is the property of VEX Meats and may not be reproduced without permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
